The Irish superstar took to Twitter where he paid respect to the Gracie family while wishing Kron the best of luck in his upcoming contest with Alex Caceres.

“Very excited to see Kron Gracie compete tomorrow in the UFC. Son of Rickson, partner of Diaz. So much lineage. Very proud and exciting moment here for the prestigious Gracie family. Remember that without this family, none of us would have a job we loved. Good luck and Respect.” – Conor McGregor

Kron Gracie, who is the son of legendary Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ace Rickson Gracie, will enter tomorrow night’s fight with Caceres sporting a perfect professional record of 4-0.

The 30-year-old, Gracie, has not competed in mixed martial arts since defeating Tatsuya Kawajiri via second-round submission under the RIZIN banner in December of 2016.

As for Alex Caceres, “Bruce Leeroy” is coming off a split-decision victory over Martin Bravo which occurred at the TUF 27 Finale this past July.

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has recently been linked to a potential scrap with fan favorite Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

“Mystic Mac” was last seen in action at UFC 229, where he suffered a fourth-round submission loss to current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
