Personally, this clip that I shot today embodies a lot of the hopes and dreams that I have for myself. BJ Penn defines what it means to be a great champion, a proud hawaiian, and an awesome human being. He's an ambassodor of not only MMA, but the human spirit. For weeks I've remained confident and commited to the idea that we as individuals can truly control our destiny. Never show bias, pass judgement, or show expectation of any kind. Rather, honor all that you value when making any choice, or taking any action; and show faith in the world around you. If you can truly develop the dedication and discipline that it takes to practice those words, than in turn you will be blessed with the integrity and honesty of all that you believe. Positive energy evokes positive change. And with some of the career opprotunities that have presented itself today, I can honestly say that the world is ripe for change. I make the choice to believe and dream with no limitation, and I was dramatically inspired by another man who does the same.

I'm the type of person who lives in a world with no limitations. I truly believe I can do anything, and I encourage others to believe the same for themselves. Compassion and honor are the two legs that I stand on, and I try dillegently to cross refrence every choice or aspiration with these two virtues. The world is what you make of it, and the name La'a means "sacred" or "destined." There are few garuntees in life and two things that I've based my idealisms on is that 1) We'll all die & 2) Whether it be for better or worse, change is undeniable. That being said you can choose to live your life for what you believe in, or fear the fact that not every question has a direct answer. Either of the two is up to you, but I pray that we all have the courage to be who we truly are.

I enjoy sharing likes and dislikes about all facets of life, and feel that fundamentally, before you and I are anything else... we are human, and because of that fact, should try to relate to those around us.
