Rudy Valentino has been studying martial arts since the age of five. He has trained in Hawaiian Self-Defense, "Lua" with Lohe Ka’aloa and Brother Abe Kamahoahoa (Grandmaster) and Karaho Kenpo with Professor Chow, trained Muay Thai with Dana Goodson and Sitsaya Jaiuat, Chinese Kempo Karate with Professor Godin. The list of champions in Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA is long and will be available on his website in about three weeks.

In the surfing world Rudy is well known and respected, at one time he was a sponsored professional surfer. He now surfs in the Grand Master Division of the Hawaii Amateur Surfing Association.
