It's been real busy and I've neglected this page... I'm going to try and do a better job from here on out.
In the pas few practices I learned how to get from guard and half guard and take someones back, the crucifix, and how to perform the triangle, armbar and neck wrench from the crucifix.

Just started the Paleo diet and actually woke up before work to go run... I feel fantastic. I'll let you guys know how the diet works out...

So I went to my third practice on Friday and learned different moves on how to get into mount and someone's side guard. I don't remember all of the names, other than the bulldozer move. Today was one of the harder lessons as I was constantly playing catch up behind all of the other guys. My ribs are sore from getting jumped into full mount, but it's all good. I'm not at all discouraged, and I'm thinking about paying for private lessons twice a month... I think that would catch me up a lot quicke…

Today was amazing... It was a lot more fun than the previous day, and things started to make a little bit more sense. I'm still getting my legs mixed up at times on the triangle's, but it's improving. I'll make mistakes for a long time, but each day I should be improving a little bit. I learned triangles from different positions, a chicken wing and another arm lock, as well as using leverage and getting my hips up and swiveling for for better position.

My first day of BJJ wasn't bad at all. It was actually really fun. The Gi was heavy and sweated a ton during the 1 1/2 in the gym. I learned basic take downs, how to get off your back, the basic armbar from mount, and a triangle. I obviously need a ton of work on everything, but at the end of the day I was somewhat happy with the armbar. The Triangle and getting off of my back need a lot of work. Once my weight is down to not stop the diet and to not stop training.
