CALLING ALL HAWAIIANS !!!Join us and place your name, "Kau Inoa". By doing this, you are simply stating that you are Native Hawaiian, and you want to be acknowledged and recognized as such. The Federal Census tells us how many Native Hawaiians there are in the US, but it does nothing more than that. We are forming a Government within a Government, in order to preserve our Heritage and not be forgotten or erased off the Federal Registry. We don't want to be classified as "Pacific Islander". WE ARE HAWAIIANS!!! That means if we don't speak up, we will likely become extinct in the eyes of the Federal Government. All Kau Inoa does is gives us a chance to speak up and have a say so, now, and in the future for Native Hawaiians. If we don't act, they are trying to do away with our identity and will also take away what little we have left. Some
groups are attempting to do away with Hawaiian Home Lands, Kamehameha Schools, OHA, Alii Trust Lands, and more. We don't want that to happen, do we? We are not trying to break away from the United States. WE ARE U.S. Citizens, but we need and MUST be recognized as Native Hawaiians. We are not trying to do any more than hold on to what is rightfully ours. Without your help, we will loose it all. Guaranteed!
Please urge all Native Hawaiians to place their names and help us preserve "Hawaiians" in our lifetime. There is NO minimum blood quantum, and NO minimum age limit. Keikis as well as our Kupunas are desperately needed on the registry. If you are Kanaka, it should be your kuleana to stand up proudly and say, " I Am Hawaiian, I placed my
name". If you don't, you won't have any say so in this matter closest to our hearts. Stand up for yourselves and stand up for Hawaiians!
Kau Inoa means "To Place Your Name". DO IT !
