UFC welterweight Kevin Holland is one of a kind. ‘Big Mouth’ announced he is fighting Tim Means in June. The 29-year-old was last seen in action at UFC 272 in March, knocking out Alex Oliveira. The victory was an important fight for Holland. The knockout got him back into the win column following a three-fight unbeaten streak.

UFC welterweight Mike Perry doesn’t seem to be taking his loss to Tim Means all that hard based on his recent actions on social media. Perry caused quite a stir last week after missing weight by a significant amount in the build-up to his bout with Means. “Platinum” decided to send some taunts to his opponent which wound up backfiring, because in the fight, Means outclassed Perry to claim a unanimous decision.

Tim Means got a significant chunk of unexpected cash when his latest opponent “Platinum” Mike Perry missed weight for their fight. Means and Perry collided on the main card of UFC 255 last Saturday in Las Vegas. While Perry missed the contracted 171-pound welterweight limit by a significant 4.5 pounds, Means wasn’t too bothered, as the scale fail meant he’d receive 30% of his rival’s purse.

Means fought Perry in the middle bout of last weekend’s UFC 255 card. He stepped into replace Perry’s original opponent, former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler, on just a few weeks’ notice.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay comes from a detailed program including outfitting requirements, media obligations and a string of other points that fall under the UFC fighter code of conduct. Prior to it being introduced, payments were submitted under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy.

UFC Sydney lineup gets a number of late adjustments

Earlier this week, news broke that Mark Hunt had been removed from his UFC Sydney headlining showdown with Marcin Tybura (and he’s not happy about that). Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum will serve at Hunt’s replacement against Tybura in the card’s main event. As it turns out, this is not the only recent change to the UFC Sydney lineup. The card has experienced another handful of adjustments over the last few days.

Fighter takes on a new career after USADA suspension, all due to a tainted supplement

UFC welterweight Tim means was just given a six-month suspension after coming to an agreement with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) after they determined that one of Means’ supplements was, in fact, tainted.

UFC welterweight Tim Means has been flagged by USADA for a “potential Anti-Doping Policy violation” from an out of competition drug testing. Means was scheduled to welcome former lightweight title contender Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone to the welterweight division at UFC Fight Night 83 on Feb. 21 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
