The World Series of Fighting can expect a packed house this Saturday when they host WSOF 6: Burkman vs. Carl at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida. Not only is the promotion putting on a full card of exciting fights, they are offering all military, police and fire personnel free tickets to the event.
World Series of Fighting officials confirmed the offer with MMAjunkie.com earlier today. The offer will provide tickets for all military, police and fire personnel, along with one guest, to see WSOF 6. The offer will be valid as long as seats are available.
Officials announced that uniforms are not required, but they did request that anyone who qualifies for the offer to bring the proper identification or badge with them to the BankUnited Center ticket window on Saturday.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. ET, and fights begin at 6 p.m.
The main card will be headlined by Josh Burkman and Steve Carl fighting for the WSOF inaugural welterweight title. Also fighting on the main card are top bantamweight fighters, Marlon Moraes and Carson Beebe; a welterweight showdown featuring Jon Fitch and Marcelo Alfaya; and a lightweight bout between Justin Gaethje and Dan Lauzon.
For those who are unable to attend WSOF 6, the action will be available to you live. The preliminary card, which will feature veteran fighters Miguel Torres and Jacob Volkmann, will stream live on MMAJunkie.com beginning at 6pm/3pm ETPT. The main card will begin airing on the NBC Sports Network at 9pm/6pm ETPT.
