With Dedication Arthur Jones Could Be UFC Champ Says Jon | UFC NEWS

“Football is “Arthur’s passion in life. But if that career were to end up as a dead end, Arthur wouldn’t hesitate to pursue mixed martial arts. The dedication that it would take for him to get down to the 265 heavyweight limit, I think it would transform him mentally into the warrior he needs to be to compete at a high level. And he would be faster than ever and mentally a stronger person. I think he would make a great contender, if not champion, in the UFC.”
Coming from probably one of the most lucky gene pools currently around today, Jon Jones, talks about his older brother to SportsIllustrated and Arthur’s chances in Mixed Martial Arts.

1 mma champ, 2 pro football players. Mama Jones has no f***in worries in the world.
+1
There are a ton of NFL players I think would do great in MMA had they get the proper training needed because their athleticism is the best around along with the tough mentality..
No not guys like Marcus Jones, that dude is a huge robot.
If I were Arthur I would seriously consider making the change right now. he was a 5th round draft pick in the NFL but he would easily be a first round draft pick In MMA. His wrestling background an elite athleticism alone could win him some matches
On the amateur circuit, yes. But the days of a wrestler dominating mma are long gone.
Not true. Wrestling is the best base to have look at the champs. All have extremely good defensive wrestling (except for silva) or dominant wrestling offense.
you do realize jon jones is primarily a wrestler right and has only lost one fight? and it was a DQ at that
“a first round draft pick in MMA” congrats on saying the most retarded thing iv heard this weekend so far!
Id rather talk about a fighter ?$
