With Bisping & Stann Out Injured UFC Match Up Lombard & Boetsch At UFC 149 | UFC News
By Jamie McAllister
Michael Bisping is out of his UFC 149 match-up with Tim Boetsch due to injury, however it is unspecified which type of injury Bisping has sustained.
Yesterday also saw Brian Stann injured and out of the fight with Lombard. Middleweights Lombard and Boetsch were left without opponents and now have been matched-up at UFC 149 which is set to take place on July 21, 2012 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The UFC 149 card will be headlined by Jose Aldo who defends his Featherweight title against Eric Koch.
Lombard now matched at UFC 149 and Stann out injured this left the UFC on FOX show which is on August 4, 2012 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California without a main event. The UFC has also filled this void by matching-up Shogun Rua who’s opponent Thiago Silva withdrew due to injury at UFC 149 and he is now set to face Brandon Vera at UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera.
What’s your take on reshuffle ?

its a clever game by Bipsing, Dana said that after the controversial Sonnen fight Bisping would probably get a title shot, so he doesn’t want to risk a possible loss to Boetsch, and just to go for the title.
100% true Bisping knew he was going to get ragdoled and tehn KO’d. I knew Bisping would never fight Lombard either. Bisping is looking for another mayhem Miller or Jerge rivera, Dan Miller, Akiyama. How you idiots ranke Bisping above the REAL top contenders like Munoz, Vitor, Belcher, Lombard, Weidman, Franklin would smash Bisping, Vanderlei would beat him again, Okami would raggdoll him, Boetch would have beaten him thats why he FAKED an injury just like Fitch did. Its easier to sit back and watch everyoneelse fight because even when someone betetr tahn you loses then teh Bispings same they are ranked higher and deserve title shots.
Go back to school retard!
@ get rid
are you ****ing retarded?

playing the injury game, now back to no respect for bisping
funny how all these injuries are occurring right before summer
I like Lombard Boetsch …. Bisping may have blew a potential title shot if he beat Boetsch which was probably going to be the case he could have been in for the title especially after Chael beats Anderson ….. Now Lombard steps in earlier than planned puts in an impressive performance and gets the shot I think
i wanna see vitor vs lombard

Everyone trying to get off the sause because Dirtbag said he was going to ramp up the testing, now their bodies can’t handle the long hours in training they were putting in. I can totally be wrong but I doubt it..
use guys r all stupid its goin to be stann vs bisping now its so clear to see
take a look back at who Bispings fought dickheads. So yeah, hes ducking Boetch… pricks
Boetsch can beat both Bisping & Stann but I think Hectors speed will be too much for him
Bispings not ducking botche,Hes ducking Lombard. As soon as he hears Stanns out cause of injury ,he mysteriously comes up with a injury knowing he would be asked to fight Lombard. He wants to keep his record nice and padded all the way to a tittle shot!
people who are saying “Oh hes playing the injury game” either have never trained in any kind of martial art let alone MMA injuries happen alot just most of the time their not serious all it takes is a kick to land wrong or anything…you can step and get out of bed and **** your leg up INJURiES HAPPEN
