Wiman vs. Sass Booked For Nottingham Show | UFC NEWS
A pair of lightweights have agreed to square off in the UFC’s return trip to the UK.
Both Matt Wiman and Paul Sass have agreed to face each other in the UFC’s upcoming Nottingham show.
“After looking so impressive in his last fight at UFC 146, unbeaten Liverpool lightweight Paul Sass steps up to fight talented veteran Matt Wiman, who has won four of his last five fights,” said White.
The card which is set to feature a main event between Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic will go down on September 29 from Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena.
Sass is an undefeated prospect who boasts a 13-0 professional MMA record. The Submission expert last saw action taking out the Jacob Volkmann at UFC 146.
Wiman is a 12-fight UFC veteran who hold an 8-4 record since entering the UFC. He last saw action against Mac Danzig at UFC on Versus last year.
