UFC president Dana White made a special announcement at the end of Saturday’s UFC 158 preliminary card on FX.

In an interview with commentator Joe Rogan, White announced that new coaches for the next season of the Ultimate Fighter will be Ronda Rousey and the winner of the Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano.

It will be a historic season in that both 135-pound male and female fighters will compete and live in the house.

Tryouts will be April 15 in Las Vegas.

UFC 158 at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is headlined by the UFC welterweight championship bout between champion Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz.

Can you imagine the drama that is about to pop off in the house with men and women there? wow

    Well played Dana…well played

  2. CamNumbahOne says:

Shit I don’t want TUF to go all Jersey Shore,
here’s hoping the fighters can keep things professional and that the fans (particularly loser horndogs) can keep it in their pants, for christsake
shit is going to hit the fan like never before, I’ll give them credit though this will definetly boost ratings

  3. Ddddddd says:

As long as she brings in killer coaching because the only thing I’ve ever seen is an arm bar or stiff uncoordinated
desperate setups. Rhonda might look good hittin mitts but it definitely doesn’t carry through in a fight and ill bet at least half the competitors will have better mma instincts and striking than Rhonda will ever have. It would have been cool if Cyborg was opposite regardless of her not having a good technique on her steroid taper she’s way more sound in every other part of mma.
