VIDEO | Welcome To The "Blackzilian" Camp, An Inside Look

By Lorenzo Luciano:
This week the “UFC Ultimate Insider” on “UFC on Fuel TV” took an insider look at the progression of the “Blackzilians”, located in Boca Raton, Florida.
The name stems from the group originally being made up of ‘Black’ and ‘Brazilian’ men.
The show demonstrates how they are a dedicated group, working together to build a team and how they are dependent on training partners for their constant improvement.
Rashad Evans speaking on the preparation for his upcoming fight against Jones states, “I know what I need to do, I know what he’s good at, and I know how to stop him.”
The groups coaching staff is made up:
Mike Van Arsdale – Head Coach
Henri Hooft – Striking Coach
Mario Sperry – jiu-Jitsu Coach
Some of the featured fighters on the tape are:
Geisas Cavalante
Danillo Villeforte
Jake Shields
Matt Mitrione
Michael Johnson
And of course it’s most famous member Rashad Evans.

Holy shit Saturday is almost here! #warshad !
I was just about to complain about Jake Shields leaving the scrap pack, but you know what. I’m happy to see Jake Shields mixing it up a little. He seemed like he was missing something in his game, that I’m sure a new environment will fill. This team seams pretty legit.
hes probably trying to distance him self from caeser and the rest of that douchebag camp
?….that camp is full of amazing fighters
i think we’re goin to c jake have way better striking now
No that camp as in the Gracie camp is full of overrated fighters and big headed dummies
Meathead pissed me off when he ran away from Kongo like a girl. He could have won that fight.
I hope their bonds can carry them through this weekend. I think Rashad is the Atlas of this group. He’s carrying this group on his shoulders pretty much, the face of the Blackzillians. If he loses that could hurt this group.
What happened to Rumble?
