VIDEO | The History of WMMA

From Youtube:

This video was inspired by that time I hung out with and watched Kedzie & Kaufman get their celebrity on at the UFC 157 Weigh-ins, witnessing in person the historic moment that was Rousey vs Carmouche, Julie Kedzie’s Fightland blog and all of the incredible women fighters I’ve met over the past year. Yes indeedy, women fighters are here to stay. :)

I thought it would be more of a documentary than a montage. Something like, “For years WMMA hid in obscurity with fans only catching glimpses of it on WWE, until society reached an understanding that women CAN compete on their own level. And then came a marketable fighter in Gina Carano. Then came a steroid stuffed Cyborg and cleared out WMMA and almost ended the whole show right there. Then came a blonde Olympian Judoka bombshell that was once again able to focus/distract people. Then came a dude who cut off his wiener in order to fight girls and win like something you’d see out of a Wayans Bros movie.” I guess that more or less sums it up. Oh yeah, and camel-toes.

…is it considered an unfair advantage if they fight while one is on her rag? extra crabby – we need to look at this.
