VIDEO| Steven Seagal Goes On Jimmy Kimmel, Discusses Training Silva & Machida
“I am teaching Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida… I show them, you know, a lot. Not everything I know, but I show them punches and what we call Ashi Sabaki, which means how you move with your feet, how you enter, hand angle, joints, but mostly I’m teaching them kicks and punches…
There is a signature kick that I’ve taught them that they’ve knocked champions out with and won world championships with.”

Kimmel is always running out of time

I’m gonna **** punch Mr. Seagal next time I see him at my meth dealer’s trailer.
Steven Seagal can spot border jumpers and cartel cronies with his special power of crime vision. That is when he isn’t too busy training karate and mauy thai experts how to punch and kick. Also, in his spare time he practices buddhism and feeds starving children. He also invented the internet.
This guy is the biggest attention whore. What could this washed up B level actor ever show to guys who have been training martial arts their whole lives!?!
I am curious. Do you believe all ufc fights are staged or just the high profile title fights that involve a lot of money?
They obviously can’t all be fixed. It would take too much time and effort. Also someone would have busted them for it by now. As much as it hurts to say it though, I could believe a few super high profile bouts could contain a certain element of trickery. Not sure about straight dives. Could be wrong though. If they did have people doing that though why wouldn’t they make the careers of so so fighters whom they wanted to market heavily last longer? Like Kimbo or Lesnar.
Lesnar was legit when the division was weaker. His face looked like hamburger meat after the beating he took from Carwin.
Slice was a tool used to make Elite XC a lot of money and pull in tons of viewers. I wonder what would have happened if Shamrock hadn’t of pulled out of that fight?

Moron.
your an idiot…maybe maybe sometimes they stage a decision…like diaz vs condit….but never fukin throw fights,,,,jones found how to beat maqchida in round 2 easy duz it wierd fuk
u mad bra?
Has anyone else ever tried sucking their own dick? I did and was like, “there is no way that I’m reaching that little guy.” I was so pissed that I came on BJPenn.com and started mouthing off.
That is some funny shit right there ^^^.
Next to being an actor he also has the 7th dan in Aikido and has been a sensei in his own dojo in Japan ….
He’s the only american to ever be allowed to train martial arts and open up a dojo in japan, his aikido is the best in the world, study a little before you make such comments. He only became an actor when people saw him kicking peoples ass and thought they could make money off of it. His acting sucks, but he’s a real true martial arts master.
Still spewing bullshit eh Bla DeBla? You are truly a specimen. You couldn’t possibly be less worth listening to. Find a new site. If you think UFC is rigged, stop following all the news. Nobody wants you around here anymore.
Your such an idiot, he has been training martial arts his hole life. Longer than than anyone one of them. Jackass!!!!!!!!
that was the most FAKE HAIR I ever seen……this guy is a kook
lol u guys crack me up u do know that the reason he got put in those movies was for his martial arts. and by the way he has trained his whole life and is as good as he is in the movies. read up on the guy he has done some amazing stuff in the mma world
well, he did invent the front kick
i heard steven seagal invented the fist
LOL this guy is FULL OF HIMSELF!
Hes been training his whole life also. If you all would do a little research you would know that, so get over yourselfs and stop whining because you aren’t the one teaching them
Ultimately I don’t know it’s all speculation. But, Zuffa obviously had a raging hard on at the prospect of marketing Lesnar. Brock also would obviously have plenty of experience and no qualms about engaging in staged fight. That being said though he really struggled against the not overwhelmingly impressive HW Div. Shogun is known to be somewhat of a hit or miss performer himself. Same goes for a lot of people who came from Japan. Though I think it can mostly be attributed to changes in rules and drug testing procedures. The potential of athletes going with a fix can never be fully discounted though. Lord knows it has happened enough times in enough different sports over the years.
Frank Shamrock sounds like the Frankie Carbo of mma.
He’s an attention whore. He annoys the hell out of me. He’s so ****ing stupid.
I heard after being insulted by Jon Jones he has dedicated his time to train everyone to defeat him but he feels that he will go under seige on Jones in about 3 lunar cycles
HAHAHA
dont know about you lot but hatted this guys movies and think he talks a load of shit!
you would think the caliber of machida and anderson they would be trained by a better actor
Does anyone in MMA Use Aikido this is a serious question not a rip. Seagal seems mostly like a joke I admit.
lol thats funny, u still need to b banned tho
…..all of you that are standing up for this guy are calling Joe Rogan, Bas Rutten and most importantly, GENE LEBELL (just to name a few), liars??? Is that what you’re saying? There’s been so many credible people that know as much, if not, WAY more than this guy about “MMA” that have exposed him, it’s embarrassing. Instead of looking up ANYTHING on this clown, research Gene Lebell. 10th degree in judo and 9th degree in jit jitsu. You’ll learn ALOT more, trust me!
Eventho he can get choked out and stuff like that it doesnt change the fact that he is a master in akido and he can help mixedmartial artists with showing them some usefull akido “stuff”. Its the same as frowning upon someones boxing coach saying he is fake and a liar because he doesnt know ground game :p
Actually, Gene Lebell said positive things about Seagal as a martial artist when he was on MMA hour the other week.
Ill fight Segal.First a foot race around the block and come back and kick his ass as he’s having a heart attack on the ground.7th degree black belt my ass.Maybe a 7th degree reinforced belt to keep his pants up on his flabby ass.
Joe Rogan talks about Steven Seagal getting choked out by Gene Lebell

The Ridiculousness of Steven Seagal Part 1
http://theflyingguillotine.wordpress.com/2011/08/17/the-ridiculousness-of-steven-seagal-part-1/
I am not the biggest Seagal fan but he has dedicated his life to Akido and is very good. For any one who wants to learn, he has much to teach.
Who uses akido in MMA? Machida doesn’t! Anderson doesnt! Silva landed the EXACT same kick that Seagal claims and takes credit for teaching him, in the Dan Henderson fight which was WAY before they ever met. Seagal is a clown, a liar and tries to take credit for people’s skills and fights.
He has legit Aikido but as for teaching kicks to Silva and Machida kicks thats pure nonsense. Aikido have some nice small joint locks and throws but it would be very little use in MMA. I trained Aikido and the instructor was like attack me, then he stopped me halfway through and said no attack me from the other side like this….yeah good one real effective. Suffice to say that was my last class….
IDK shit about Aikido but sounds like an incomplete martial art. But Wing Chun has grappling, throws and strikes. It was made by a woman so you know it’s good against larger opponents.
