Video | Rogan Responds To Rampage | I Can't Protect Everyone's Feelings

“Rampage Jackson’s mad at me. I was watching and he was calling me fake ass. He was saying that all I want him to do his throw low kicks and the reason he doesn’t throw low kicks is because he was fighting a wrestler ‘you dumbass.’ Look, man, I love Rampage. I don’t mean to be rude when I assess things. I’m just trying to objectively figure out how this guy could be doing better than he’s doing. … When I’m doing commentary on a fight, all I’m trying to do is sort of objectively assess what I think someone could be doing differently to try to get themselves out of spot if they’re not winning or… I’m just trying to commentate. I’m not like critiquing the guy’s soul. I’m not like breaking down who he is as a person. I like the guy a lot. … The last thing I want to do is add more pressure or add more stress. All I’m doing is trying to just… I’m analyzing the fight, that’s all it is. I have to be objective. I can’t protect someone’s feelings at the expense of doing what I’m supposed to be doing, which is sort of analyzing what’s going on.”

If you missed our report yesterday where Quinton “Rampage” Jackson basically told Joe Rogan to “Shut Up” but not in such nice words, then check it out here.

Above is Rogan responding via his personal podcast. Enjoy…

Rampage is simultaneously a tough, bad ass mutha****a and a sensitive, tender feelings little girl. I’m a fan of Rampage but it kills me how quickly his little feelings get hurt when someone isn’t slurping him as the man….come on man, get over yourself and take a little criticism without blasting the messenger….

  2. CALI says:

Did anyone else read that in Joe’s voice ?

  3. Jb says:

    Wahhhhhh Jackson

    • Dick Niaz says:

      sadly +1

constructive criticism is part of life. Kind of sad to see an adult who doesn’t have the capacity to roll with a fairly accurate assessment of their performance, when it is in fact Rogan’s job to comment on the fights.

      somebody call the whaaaambulance…

  4. BloodShotRetina says:

Joe Rogan is the best commentator. As an analyst, breaking down fights, educating the general audience, while adding humor and insight as the fights progress. Not an easy job, Rampage should reconsider with constructive criticism, it could make him a better fighter.

    • marcus says:

idk, i mean he is good…but i think Bas Rutten is the best ever, talk about a guy with actual in ring experience and can comunicate that through words. I would love it if they let Bas and the fight proffessor call the Japan show

  5. Heath says:

    Grow up Jackson!

  6. Donnybrook says:

Joe’s right, Rampage is one dimensional.

  7. david says:

rampage quit whining, oh no someone isnt kissing his ass, better puff out his chest now, him attacking joe rogan makes me lose respect for him. joes not the best commentator its true but hes a ****en hell of a alot better than michael goldberg, that guy states the stupidest most obvious shit every fight AND he repeats it every broadcast, do i need to be reminded every ****en fight how this guy lost to so and so, every ****en time? i hate him hes annoying

  8. jonsey says:

thethe worst commenttor is strikeforce guy,,not shamrock but the guy who always repeats.NICE LEVEL TAJECTREE ELBOW…yeah haters i know it is spelled wrong…anyone else notice every event him repeating that???

  9. Abuka says:
