VIDEO: KENDA PEREZ COVERS BJ PENN AND HIS COACHES ON THIS WEEK'S "THE ULTIMATE SHOW"
On this week’s episode of “The Ultimate Show,” host Kenda Perez provides fight fans with the ultimate coverage on all the latest news and analysis of what’s going on with the UFC. This past Saturday’s UFC 135: “Jones vs. Rampage” is recapped, and TUS is on the scene to show the fans what happened at the “UFC on FOX” press conference in Hollywood. In addition, former UFC champion BJ Penn sits down for an exclusive “Weigh-In” interview. Also, Penn’s coaches, Justin McCully and Jason Parillo, continue with their “On the Edge” panel discussion, while rising UFC stars Chad Mendes, Michael McDonald, “Mr. Wonderful” Phil Davis and Brian Stann all check in for the “Team Edge Round-up.”
The highly anticipated matchup between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones and former champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson rocked Denver this past Saturday, as Jones solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with in the Octagon. “Bones” stopped Jackson in the fourth round of their bout with a submission, and “Suga” Rashad Evans entered the Octagon soon after as Jones’ next opponent in an upcoming UFC title fight. In addition, Nate Diaz put on one of his most impressive performances to date with a dominating win over Takanori Gomi, while Mark Hunt showed he’s no pushover with a gutsy decision victory against Ben Rothwell.
