I like both guys and respect them both as fighters, but it bugs me when someone has a high testosterone and people assume it is steroids. Overeem was never charged with streroids, he was taking a an anti- inflammatory drug that contained testosterone, which most do to help your body recover faster. I do think that Overeem was negligent for not realizing this, but it was NOT STEROIDS.
I do think that they are tied for number one heavyweights in the world and they both need to fight eachother to see who is the best, I do think that Overeem is a better all around striker utilizing all limbs of the body. JDS is an amazing boxer but never uses kicks, knees, elbows, clinch strikes, etc. Also Overeem is a better grappler, as JDS has never won a UFC fight via submission and Overeem has 19 submission victories includng a win over Vitor Belfort, a Carlston Gracie black belt.
Lastly Overeem is MUCH strnger than JDS and has better cardio.
When you break down the fight Overeem has more ways to win and more tools to utilize.

No he made the hand gestures because he got passionate. Remember w all romance languages (Spanish Portuguese. Italian, French ect…) when emotions arise you become more passionate and use your hands a lot more to explain things. I know this because I am told I am very animated when talking using my hands to bring the point across. My first language was Spanish. So I think that way. Just something I have noticed by going to different places even in parts of the US people are totally different. Lucky to have traveled since a young age. Junior has awsome standup, but its not on any different level than Overeem. I really doubt we will see a top MMA fighter go to K-1 and stomp basicly every big name in kickboxing like Reem did.. Here’s the thing about people saying Overeem has better grappling and submissions than JDS and more submission wins etc. Maybe you guys don’t realize this, but JDS has never had to use his grappling. I’m sure Mir, Velasquez, Werdum and Nelson are all better grapplers than Overeem… Look how far they got with JDS. And that’s coming from a fan of Mir, Velasquez, Werdum and Nelson.
None of them had a chance of touching JDS’ chin either. But Overeem can, longer reach and better technique/more power.
I don’t think there will be much grappling. These two guys are known for their excellent stand-up skills. Overeem does have a greater skillset in the stand-up. I think JDS doesn’t check legkicks well enough, Overeem will throw hard legkicks throughout the fight since he won’t be worried to get taken down by JDS.
Overeem and his glass jaw are screwed. Good luck trying to take a punch from JDS.
