Probably would have been had the guy gone after him while he was all wobbly like that. It is questionable, but had he been totally gone he wouldn’t have been able to defend himself. It was the right decision simply because he was able to mount a strong offensive after that, suggesting he was not done. Mistake by the big guy not closing in when he should have.
Actually it was perfect refereeing. The ref didnt stop it too early but if the guy hadnt bounced right back up to defend himself like he did the ref was right there to stop it

That completely reminded me of Kongo vs. Barry. I thought it was a good stoppage. The guy on the ground wasn’t going anywhere but to dreamland had they continued. The ref saved him from a bad concussion.
