VIDEO | GSP Hopes Carlos Condit Targets His Injured Knee | UFC NEWS
“It’s been a year and a half. … I’m back stronger and better than ever. The hardest part to being out for so long is to be inactive, to be unable to do what you like to do for a living. This will be the biggest challenge of my whole career. I have to fight the toughest opponent I ever fought. I have to come back from a long layoff, a big inactive period of time.
“The most interesting thing Carlos has is his capacity for adaptation. He can adapt to any opponent he fights. That’s why he’s so good. He’s very skilled but he’s also very smarter.
“I’m not afraid of Carlos Condit. I hope Condit focuses on targeting my knee. It’s not a weak link anymore. There is nothing that I can’t do now that I was able to do before.
“I will leave with the belt. There is no doubt in my mind.”

Well said,I know his fight with nick was back in February,but I still think Diaz won that fight.and I was disappointed in condits performance but props to him for getting the nod.condit does have a shot but gsp is just a different breed of fighter.gsp by decision.

i think it is stupid that people talk shit about clay. every fight he has been in was a great fight besides that one fight. he should have gotten the decision vs. gray anyway. i do agree with you about condit, gsp will destroy him
GSP had 560 days to get back fully JUICED and ready to go. GSP is the least tested fighter in the UFC. Keep in mind NO TESTING in Canada and add that to the FACT he only fights every few years. Condit may have run from Nick but I’m still rooting for him against GSP because GSP is no longer a fighter. GSP fights to not lose and has lost his desire to compete and its all about keping his sponsers now

I hope gsp has been doing a lot of training at the track as he’s gonna have to catch carlos if he wants to hit him.

so condit has wars with kampmann, jake and rory, knockouts hardy, and destroys “stung gun” with a sick flying knee. he has one fight were he fights intelligently (which, joe rogan and mike goldberg said they thought was exciting) and everyone becomes a critic? get off his back! you cant have a war EVERY fight. same with clay. just saying.
