Back during Matt Hughes reign as UFC welterweight champion, Tapout was the biggest, and most well known, fighter endorsed apparel line. The Tapout crew of Punkasss, Skyscraper, and Mask were well known in the MMA community, and even wound up getting their own TV show on ‘Versus’.

During an episode, the crew joined UFC welterweight Matt Hughes to an autograph signing. The episode aired in 2007, but took place prior to Hughes fight against Georges St-Pierre, where he lost the UFC title.

Hughes and Punkass engaged in a friendly little exchange, before then having a full blown sparring session in the store, which ends with Hughes dropping Punks with a brutal body kick.
