While Bob Sapp may have a rather dismal 11-19-1 professional MMA record, the towering former Football player turned fighter recently snapped a 3-fight skid by picking up a technical decision win over Akebono at Rizin FF 2 back in December of 2015. While Sapp has now been away from the kickboxing ring for nearly two years, he will be returning to the ring August 4th in France according to a new promo from ‘The Beast’, which you can see above.

Sapp put together a rather impressive 10=4 professional kickboxing record before going on an 10-fight skid that spanned over six years. In 2012, Sapp bounced back from the losing streak by picking up a TKO win, before then going on a 3-fight skid that saw him KO/TKO’d three times in a row, which Sapp followed up with his win over Akebono, as referenced above.
