Capoeira is a style of martial arts that usually combines music, dance, acrobatics, and fighting that make for a very entertaining spectacle.
Most demonstrations usually have some skilled Capoeira practitioners showing off their talents but do not make any physical contact. According to capoeira-world, “it is often called ‘Capoeira game’ that is played, not a fight. Capoeira is always played with a smile on face symbolizing that the capoeiristas are not afraid from the danger that is coming.”
In the demonstration seen in this video, there was something that these two Capoeira practitioners did not like about each other as their “Capoeira game” took a turn and turned into a full blown fight.
The two start off by shaking hands and start their game. They get closer and closer and make a bit of contact and then it gets ugly when one of the practitioners slams the other on his head with an insane suplex. The two are finally separated after a bit of a brawl breaks out with the chaos between the two sides trying to stop the fight.
Perhaps these two should sit out the next few games.
