VIDEO | Fast Rising Travis Browne Talks About UFC 145 And The Desert That Made Him

By Jamie McAllister:
“Out here it’s desert, it’s rattlesnakes, it’s cacti. It’s nasty out there. Being here in this environment helps make you tough. It helps make you into the fighter you need to be to go three five-minute rounds, five five-minute rounds in the cage. There’s nothing nice about the cage. There’s nothing soft about it. It’s nasty. You get in there. You get dirty. You get beat up. And it’s the same kind of thing here in Albuquerque. To me there’s nothing pretty about it. That’s a big reason why I’m here. The environment helps mold you into the fighter you need to be.”

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report UFC top ten Heavyweight Travis Browne talks about how training in the desert prepares him for the cage.

Browne has a record of twelve wins and one draw, nine of his victories coming by way of knockout and he faces Chad Griggs this weekend at UFC 145. Griggs also has an impressive record with eleven wins and one defeat with all of his victories coming by way of knockout as well submission due to punches.

They should put this fight on UFC on FOX instead of wasting it on prelims on FX. Someone is getting KO’ed. LETS GO TRAVIS!
