The bustling hoopla has started again with another big name fighter to step up to say he will accept a fight with UFC Heavyweight Champ Junior Dos Santos at UFC 146 on May 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This has all been a bit messy with the recent succession of heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem becoming the poster boy of steroid use in MMA.
This past weekend the fans rally the “Super Samoan” Mark Hunt on twitter. As the tweets fly, the President of the UFC Dana White shoots them down and says it’s not happening.
Now, we have Dan Hederson who has KO’d the once most dominating fighter in all of Mixed Martial Arts – Russian terror Fedor Emelianenko and with his most recent win over Maurcio “Shogan” Rua – willing to take a fight with the Champ. Henderson has even fashioned a game plan.
If the MMA fans and the world over don’t get to see their first choice, we have a couple of great short notice fighters willing to step up and make this fight interesting.
