UFC light heavyweight Dan Henderson lets us know how he feels about the strategies other title challengers have employed, what he thinks when people say he’s the last hope to beat the dominant champ and whether or not he thinks Jones can take a punch. We also hear whom he’s brought into camp to mimic the lanky Jones and how he feels about training after so many years in the fight business.
“For some reason, a lot of fans don’t like him and they’re just wanting him to lose. I’ll gladly step in and fill that role for them. Overall, what you want to do with almost anybody (is close the distance) unless you want to stay outside, but for me that’s pretty much what I like to do and I just have to make sure that I’m able to do it against Jon Jones and his reach. I don’t know (if he can take a punch). Hopefully he’ll take a few.”

Hendos got a that punchers chance.Would love to see him put jones to sleep.People think he’s fake,partly because he is,but mainly because his reign as champ has been fake.What i mean is,he has been fighting and beating much smaller opponents.But he’s only winning because of his freak reach,and strength advantage from being a heavyweight.He weighs in at 205 at the weigh in,than walks in at 215 220 at the fight.on top of that he walks around at 235 to 240 normally.thats what DOS SANTOS weighs.And Cain usually 240 245.Ovareem weighs 255.This are fighters much closer to his size,and guys he should be fighting.Not these 5′-11″and 6′footers.he’s been fighting.These are mismatches.ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE WHY HES BEEN WINNING…And I hate to say it,but Hendos gonna be another victim for him,Jones is too damn big for him.Another ****en mismatch

I love how when there’s talk of jones, they all say he doesn’t fight at his own weight. Atleast he’s close to his fight weight than most others, especially readin that Silva walks around above 205…
I don’t think Hendo has much chance here. Jones is too big and long and too quick. It should be a round 1 tko or sub by Jones. But at least Hendo didn’t say NOPE to fighting him like Silva did. Silva probably would not go to 05 to fight Rashad either. I wish Rashad could make 85 and beat up Silva. Oh yah and Silva is bigger, taller and longer than Hendo!!!…LMAO….Anderson “NOPE” Silva….
