Agree,I mean what the **** does the jersey shore have to do with Frankie.frankie even said in the UFC mag.that those are the type of kids him and his friends used to beat up growing up.i know hes from jersey but people automatically think there’s a connection or something.goes to show some people are just ****ing ingnorant.this fight will be good can’t wait for it.

Edgar said he has put the first loss behind him, but his coaches haven’t. Mark Henry makes some serious allegations about the slip in the 5th round. How can you say that punch dropped Benson when that punch was NOT flush and Edgar hit Benson with better punches than that one earlier and Benson didn’t go down? Benson was generous in thinking he lost the first round because I thought he won it by the slimmest margin. He won the 2nd. Won the 3rd. Maybe lost the 4th, and then won the 5th (but it’s all opinion).
But Henry and Almeida (especially Henry) gave no respect to Henderson at all, and that’s what I don’t like. And to some extent, Edgar didn’t give Benson any respect after what Benson did to Edgar. Edgar says he bruises easily–yeah, when someone connects on your face repeatedly.
Edgar has a strong will and speed. No power, no ground, weak stand up. That may allow you to win fights, but it doesn’t make you a great fighter or champion. Edgar’s coaches know this and have done a great job of convincing Edgar that he is something he is not. If you listen to people evaluating Edgar, all you hear is heart and “he’s fast.”
Not that he can box, wrestle, has great bjj, has knock out power. Nothing! What kind of fighter is that?
