VIDEO | BJ Penn 21 second KO: UFC Ultimate Knockouts

“The Prodigy” BJ Penn put the UFC welterweight division on notice at UFC 123 when he smoked former champion Matt Hughes in just 21 seconds. Penn stepped into the Octagon and floored Hughes with a monster right hand before finishing him off with strikes on the ground, proving that Penn is still a force to be reckoned with.

His only win in the last two years, what a joke! The only thing BJ put on notice was that he didn’t want to put the work to stay at a healthy weight to stay in the LW division. BJ’s legacy was ruined by all his yes men.

    • Gank Train says:

When it comes to fighters who are as legendary as Bj Penn you don’t disrespect them because the end of their career wasn’t as good as they used too be, but you honour them for their accomplishments in their prime. Even though BJ went started to age and isn’t winning like he used too you also have to consider that he is fighting world class fighters! In not a single fight he has had in the last 2 years has he looked bad, he just didn’t get the W’s. Learn to respect the legends of the sport you pathetic keyboard warrior.

Hmmm…BJ looked bad against Edgar & Diaz, & 3rd round with Fitch. I’m not disrespecting BJ, I’m just giving you guys real talk, but just like BJ’s yes men, so are his fans.

ahh its like reliving the moment. what a badass, bj penn is amongst the greatest of all time and theres not a damn thing you can say to refute such a claim

  3. best opinion on the nets says:

He could go back to 155 and beat a lot of asses. But he wont. He is enjoying his life too much now!

true that , that guy is just a hater, looser ass mofo

  5. Jake says:

Seriously this guy is coming on to bj’s website full of all his fans and talk shit. Loser get a fuckin life

  6. A.James says:

BJ comes to fight and is outspoken against PED usage. Win or lose he comes to fight. I give Diaz the head nod on his victory over Penn but I definitely believed he looked out of place during round one. Diaz is supposed to be the man when it comes to boxing and ju jitsu but I saw no proof of his skill until he began using the cage to his advantage. Even still BJ fought til the very end and was exchanging with Nick. I don’t think BJ came into that fight properly prepared but, he did put up a great fight.

Picking Hughes up after the knockout… FTW.
