The most recent is Josh Koscheck who lost to Paulo Thiago by TKO (Punches) at UFC 95 – 2/21/2009 1 3:29. Thats it, Jake sheilds was back in 2000, Hardy was finished after the GSP fight. who else is there, B.J penn, Jon Fitch, Matt Serra and Thiago Alves. appreciate the sport for what it is, the technical mastery, the determination, the set ups the game plans. No way anderson can drop to 170 in a few weeks and fight well. For BJ, it would be awesome if UFC 137 could be salvaged by pitting a match-up between Nick Diaz vs. BJ Penn as the co-main event.
The pressure would be off of Nick to promote a main event and would create an awesome No. 1 contender match for the Welterweight title.

BJ and Nick are friends and Bj has said the only Cesar Gracie student he would fight is Shields.
It wouldn’t be the first time friends fought. Besides, fighting a friend never seem to have bothered BJ in the past, take for example Joe Lauzon (when BJ reigned over the lightweight division, he about to fight Sherk, Lauzon to meet Florian), BJ said:
“If Joe does win, and I win the belt, there’s a good chance that we may have to fight each other …. He would have to fight me if he wants to be the champion. I want him to realize his dreams; I would make him fight me.”
If it’s okay to fight Joe, why not Nick? A fan may ask

If Nick Diaz is a fighter nothing about Dana or Money or anything else should be an excuse not to fight GSP. GSP was willing to fight him… I like watching Nick Diaz fight so this sucks, but Nick Diaz destroy GSP? I highly doubt that. Nick Diaz is CREDIBILITY to the belt…?
