UFN 47 Bonus Report: Four Main Card Fighters Walk With $50K

UFC Fight Night 47 took place tonight in Bangor, Maine and the card did not disappoint.

In the main event Ryan Bader controlled Ovince St. Preux in a grueling 5 round grind to earn himself a unanimous decision victory in typical Ryan Bader fashion.

Ross Pearson shined brightly tonight as he earned an impressive TKO victory over former #1 contender Gray Maynard and moved himself one step closer to a shot at the UFC lightweight title.

Tim Boetsch also showed his true colors once again as he pulled off a come-from-behind victory over Brad Tavares. Tavares looked sharp in the first half of the fight but late in the second round Boetsch caught Tavares with a hook that dropped him and led to a TKO win for “The Barbarian”.

The UFC has announced Fight Night Bonus winners and here is the list of those top performers from the night:

Alan Jouban  and Seth Paczynski both raked in $50,000 a piece for their amazing fight of the night performance. The two men were involved in a back and forth battle that only lasted a round but was extremely exciting while it lasted. Alan Jouban ended the fight with a beautiful hook that dropped Baczynski late in the opening frame.  He then pounced on Baczynski and earned a TKO victory in his UFC debut.

Tim Boetch also earned $50,000 for his performance of the night. Boetsch  claimed a TKO victory over Brad Tavares and is becoming well known for his comeback victories. The TKO was quick, gutsy, and exciting. Because of this the UFC will compensate him for it.

Thiago Tavares will also cash in an extra $50,000 tonight for his UFC Fight Night 47 performance of the night. Tavares, who made his first frop to the UFC featherweight division, looked overwhelming and outright scary against Robbie Peralta. Tavares made short work of his opponent as he went out and sunk in a RNC to earn a submission victory in the first round. Tavares will be compensated for his thrilling and impressive performance.
