UFC Releases A Number Of Fighters From Their Roster | UFC News

The UFC has decided to release several fighters from their roster.
Fighters cut from the promotion include Dongi Yang, Kamal Shalorus, Jorge Lopez, Jeff Curran. All were defeated at the UFC on Fuel TV event last month.
More cuts made by the promotion include Aaron Rosa (lost 2 of 3) Efrain Escudero (2 straight losses) Steve Cantwell (5 straight losses).
Popular MMA blog, Bloodyelbow.com also points out that more cuts could be made soon as a few other fighters have had their profiles at UFC.com removed, this usually signals that they may be cut from the promotion.
Alex Soto (2 straight losses & lost at UFC on Fuel TV)
Eric Wisely (2 straight losses)
Mike Massenzio (2 straight losses)
What do you think of the cuts are they warranted or should anyone else be added to the list ?

Look up the definition of promotion fag. It’s not like the NFL or NBA cuts people from their ‘promotion’. They cut people from the league itself.
And suggest you get to know this sport, especially before insulting people, just because they are not tolerant towards dumb remarks.

They were all good cuts. People pay to see winners and contenders. Not losers.
This is a sport based on ratings and competition.

I think the Kamal cut was pretty bad he’s only fought top level competition ….. Jim Miller & Kabib is a killer too

I thought Shalarous got tough competition the Russian dude was on like a 26 fight win streak , & Miller is a top guy and Dos Anjos is up there too

A friend of mine went 1-1 in the UFC, his only loss was to an Ultimate Fighter winner and CompuStrike had him listed as the more active fighter too. What’s worse, the guy he beat, still has a job.

Those are pretty fair cuts, the rosters are huge in the UFC, so many people you forget exist and then just pop up. Personality plays such a role too, for guys like Pat Berry and Dan Hardy. You need some funny guys too knock around I guess.
Should be good for the regional promotions with Dream going down, after Zuffa has their pick of the litter if they want any.
Instead of cutting them, why not just put them on the Strikefarce roster?
