UFC Signs Undefeated Jumabieke Tuerxun to its Bantamweight Ranks | UFC NEWS

In an anticipated move, the UFC has signed Chinese phenom Jumabieke Tuerxun.  The bantamweight known as “The Wild Wolf” is the UFC’s second Chinese fighter.

Tuerxun (14-0) is one of China’s top MMA athletes, formerly holding the Legend FC belt and most recently competing in RUFF.  He turned down a chance to fight in RUFF’s Super Fight tournament that will be crowning China’s MMA champion, presumably for the opportunity to fight in the UFC.

The news was first reported by the Chinese media outlet, Weibo, and broke first in English through iJudgeFights.

There has been no announcement as to when Tuerxun is expected to make his UFC debut.

Never seen him fight, but sounds good. I doubt he will hold up to the American wrestler studs though. More like needing a Chinese star for the UFC move into China.
