UFC President Dana White Receives Death Threats from Fighter Dan Quinn | UFC NEWS
“I’m gonna shoot you right in the f-cking head motherf-cker.”
This and other expletive-laced messages were left on the private work voicemail of Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White recently, according to TMZ.
White has received a number of threatening voicemails over the past week from Dan Quinn (5-8 MMA). Quinn has never fought in the UFC, and his most recognizable opponent is UFC heavyweight Frank Mir. Mir defeated Quinn by triangle choke in 2001.
Quinn appears to be delusional, accusing White in the voicemails of making death threats against him and his family.
“Since you’re bringing that to me, you should be worried about your own safety, b-tch,” he says in one message. “You should be looking over your f-cking shoulder and checking your rearview mirror … because I’m coming for you, b-tch. F-cking threatening my life? How about I take you and the whole f-cking Zuffa crew down with you, b-tch.”
In one of the voicemails, Quinn takes on an Irish accent and persona, calling himself “Paddy O’Neill,” and continues to threaten White.
White has apparently never met nor spoken to Quinn. White and UFC security have given the voicemails over to the Las Vegas Police Department, TMZ reports.
Quinn, 44, has a history of seeking conflict with high-ranking sports figures. He once played for the Notre Dame football team and feuded with coach Lou Holtz, accusing him of attacking players and engaging in point shaving for not giving him more playing time.
