UFC President Dana White Admits He Was Wrong About Jon Fitch

You rarely hear Dana White say he was wrong about something, but when it come’s to Jon Fitch that’s what just happened.

“I wasn’t right. I cut Jon Fitch, I said he went 1-2-1 since 2011, and he’s on the downside of his career. He’s 35 years old, he hasn’t looked impressive at all, but I said he’ll be a world champion at the World Series of Fighting. I said he’ll go over there and win a title… Did I think Fitch was going to win? Yeah, I thought Fitch was going to win. I said Fitch is going to wrestle-(expletive) him for three rounds and win the fight.”

Jon Fitch lost in his WSOF debut in just 41 seconds when fellow UFC veteran Josh Burkman choked him unconscious in the main event this past Friday.

So Dana was wrong about the positive thing he said about Fitch?

    • Dis Guy says:

      yup… fitch is bum

    • GOT RID OF FITCH (forever) says:

Funny as hell Dana though Fitch would “wrestle fuck” him for 3 rounds. That’s a classic. NOONE in MMA history has run more fan away from the sport than Jon “LAY N PRAY” Fitch. Best decision Dana and the UFC has ever made was cutting Fitch. Should have done it years ago.

Fitch has to be one of the most overrated fighter (IF YOU CAN CALL HIM THAT) EVER

    • GOT RID OF FITCH (forever) THANK GOD says:

I just added Josh Burkmann to my HERO list along with Johny Hendricks and Damian Maia.

Lay n pray is no more

AKA and Fitch’s days of picking NON-wrestlers to LAYN PRAY are over.

UFC should do a survey of how much money they lost having Fitch on their roster for so long. Fitch had the smallest fanbase of any well known fighter ever. UFC probably lost over a million just in lost PPV that people refused to buy once they saw Fitch’s name on the schedule. Then they lost 1.4 million in salary on a fighter that had next to NO fans. Its endless to think of all the lost revenue. Every time Fitch was on a fight card the UFC could have had a fan favorite in his spot that would have sold more tickets so the number of lost dollars Fitch cost the UFC is IMO staggering beyond comprehension

      • Holy Shit says:

You sir are pathetic. Do you fight? Do you even trane bro? I’m not even a huge Jon Fitch fan either but it’s absolutely hilarious when some guy has your username. It just baffles the shit out of me when people criticize fighters for something that they themselves have never experienced. Do you appreciate the technical aspect of MMA or do you just like to see a brawl. Whose to say you wouldn’t fight exactly like Jon Fitch? Hey Fatty, maybe you would shit your pants while some dude beat you into submission.

  2. Nando says:

Classic Dana: kicking a man while he is down

    • GOT RID OF FITCH (forever) thanks Dana says:

Fitch would kick his own mother while she is down. IF you knew anything about the REAL Jon Fitch you would be shocked.

TOTAL DOUCHBAG in real life. My cousin trained at AKA for a few years and Fitch acts like he owns the place and EVERYONE there hates his guts except Cain and Cormier. How could anyone respect a poor sport bitch like Fitch who refused to shake Burkmanns hand after the fight and Fitch ran out of the cage. What a pile of LAY N PRAY SHI’T he is.

Fitch is a cry baby bitch always crying like a baby because Dana and NO fans wanted to ever watch his boring ass lay n pray. Please retire already Fitch

  3. KIDD433 says:

    @rid of Fitch +1

  4. doc says:

I personally was only interested in two fights that Fitch was in. When he fought Penn and when he fought GSP. The only reason I payed to see him vs Penn was obviously because I wanted to see BJ fight.

I don’t care for Fitch as a fighter, and some of his interviews that he has he paints himself to be a two faced-type person.

I don’t have anything against him really. I just don’t care for him.

Looks like he will have to get a job like the rest of us to pay that 2nd mortgage he is cries about all the time.
