During a presentation at EA Gamescom, UFC Executive Vice President and Managing Director of UFC Europe, Garry Cook, announced that the UFC would be putting on events in a number of European countries in the next year.

UFC officials announced Tuesday morning its schedule of live events for 2014. Among its planned events, the organization is planning to travel to England, Sweden, Poland, Ireland, Turkey, Scotland and Germany.
Executive Vice President and Managing Director of UFC Europe, Garry Cook, spoke at EA Gamescon Tuesday morning where he announced the schedule as part of his presentation promoting the new EA Sports UFC video game, which will be released in the spring of 2014.
The UFC has already held past events in Ireland, Germany, England and Sweden. Those events were met with great success, and the recent additions of young European fighters could only help bolster the organization’s support abroad.
