prelims were great…i didnt get to watch main event was it good anyone???
First fight and main event were good. Johnson vs Brenneman was stopped early (Brenneman wasn’t close to being out). Struve vs Berry was boring the first round then picked up the second. Good free card overall.
No doubt the fight was stopped early, but if the ref didn’t stop it, Rumble woulda stopped it himself within a few seconds. No way was Brenneman gonna recover enough from that baseball bat to the face to be able to defend from what Rumble was about to put on him

All you have to do is compare what fighters like Condit and Ellenberger have done in the last 2 years and how exciting their wins were to what Fitch has done and its obvious his draw with BJ puts him so far down the list of fighters deserving a title shot.

Rumble is a fighter I like, but his striking is awkward and not smooth. He just overpowers his opponents with his strength. But if he improved his striking and footwork, he’d be unstoppable. Rumble looks so much HUGE-ER than before, and he was HUGE before ! Unreal.

If you want to judge off effective damage as should all fights be scored as you would have mighty mouse winning that fight.. I think refs should be more strict on guys who dry hump and lay on their opponents and not do any damage.

Damn! There were some entertaining fights on! Brenenman deserves what he got since he gloated after beating the more talented Rick Story. Although I do think that was a bad call, he was getting man handled. Pat vs Struve was a good fight. I desperately wanted Pat to win because he has so much talent but he can never catch a break. I hope he doesn’t get his walking papers but instead drops to MW or LHW.
Dominic Cruz vs Demetrious Johnson was another exciting match of back and forth pummeling dished out by both fighters. I love his drunken Thai kick boxing and Demetrious had a lightening fast pace. I felt like I was watching DBZ for a second, I was literally getting flashbacks of high school!

Brian for the record the athletic commision provides the refs, not the UFC. If you notice herb dean, josh rosenthall, steve mazagatti, mario yamasaki, kevin mullhall, etc… they all ref fro bellator,and strike force and a bunch of small organizations no one cares about. Dana has stated that he hates steve mazzagati but he can’t do any thing about it….same thing with the judges….sorry bro i hate it too.
