UFC on FX 3 | Leonard Garcia Set To Return Against Matt Grice

Featherweight fan favorite Leonard Garcia is set to return to the cage against Matt Grice on June 8.

UFC officials announced the bout this afternoon.

UFC on FX 3 is tentatively scheduled for June 8, but a location and venue have yet to be revealed by company officials.

Leonard Garcia is famous for going all out and entertaining fans at all costs, however his entertaining fighting style has lead him into a two-fight losing hole that he desperately needs to dig himself out of. He was scheduled to make his return to action at UFC 144 but injury forced him off the card.

Grice has yet to find any real success inside the UFC. On an original four-fight stint as a lightweight he went 1-3 before being released by the promotion. He took to the regional circuit where he bested four straight opponents and returned as a featherweight. In his reemergence with the promotion he suffered yet another blow to his UFC aspirations when he met Ricardo Lamas and got taken out in the first round via TKO.

  1. I have better stand-up than Mayhem Miller says:

Leonard Garcia should be 0-8-1 in his last 9 fights….
This guy just keep getting ridiculous decisions.
He should get married with Zoila Gurgel if you guys know what I mean.

  2. Sick Brah says:

Fuck I love this cunt. Always puts the best fights on. Fuck you fans that care about records, it’ll be bullshit if he gets released…
