UFC on FUEL TV 7 Medical Suspensions: Watson, Jimmo, and Poirier could be out 6 months.

The list of medical suspensions was released today for the fighters that took part in UFC on FUEL TV 7 on February 16th. Every fighter was placed on at least a 30 days no fight, 21 days no contact list.
Three fighters in particular, Tom Watson, Ryan Jimmo, and Dustin Poirier received even lengthier suspensions. Watson is facing a 180 day suspension or a clear x-ray on his right elbow. Jimmo was given a 190 day suspension, or until his right thigh injury is cleared by a doctor. Poirier was placed on a 180 day suspension unless he can provide a clean x-ray for his right ankle.
The UFC acted as their own commission since there is no regulatory governing body overseas. For the most part fighters do return to action much quicker once doctors give the go ahead. These suspensions are for the fighter’s safety, and mostly a precautionary measure.
