UFC On Fuel TV 6 Results: Cung Le KO’s Franklin In The First | UFC NEWS

The UFC’s first trip to China is over already.
The nine-bout FUEL TV card delivered some much needed wins for the likes of Takanori Gomi, Riki Fukuda and Alex Cacares. However the card failed to deliver a bulk of finishes, or really any finishes, until the main and co-main events.
Thiago Silva returned to form in the evenings co-featured bout with a third round submission victory over Stanislav Nedkov but it was former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Cung Le, who really stole the show with a shocking first round knockout over the former UFC middleweight champion, Rich Franklin.

damn, reminds me of Fedor- Arlovski… feel bad for Rich, he was winning that fight and beating Cung at his own game up until that point.
ha I knew Cung was gonna take it.I even tweeted that shit.Sucks to c Ace get KTFO but it was bad ass to c Cung
prove all these keyboard warriors and casual fans wrong. In ur face bitches!
i’ve always seen rich in ufc highlight reel knockouts but never like this…
I was a true KO, know of that TKO bullshit. I love Rich but that was still sick KO, the way his legs go after he gets hit truly shows how gone he was
I hope that Franklin will keep on fighting.
He was controlling the fight and, got too confident. I think also that Lee worked a lot on his boxing, especially slipping punches and countering.
Cung LE might get KO of the year for thath one. Thiago Silva was fighting dirty. Low blows followed by ear boxing, which isn’t illegal, but dirty for sure.
