UFC on FUEL TV 4 | Bruce Leeroy Set To Return Against Damacio Page | UFC NEWS

A bantamweight bout sure to deliver fireworks has been added to the UFC’s July 11 card in the form of Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres and Damacio Page.

UFC on FUEL TV 4 is set to go down from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. In the main event Mark Munoz will take on Chris Weidman in a middleweight bout with serious implications for the division.

Damacio is in desperate need of a win. After failing in his first two UFC attempts against Brian Bowles and Brad Pickett to stretch his losing streak to three, he was fortunate enough to pick up a “Fight of the Night” bonus in his most recent defeat, which likely saved his UFC life.

Unfortunately for the Greg Jackson trained fighter the UFC hasn’t done him any favors with this latest booking.
Alex Caceres has looked nothing short of impressive since his time on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 12. While his UFC record is spotty, he has showed vast improvement in all areas with each and every outing under the UFC banner. He last saw action in a defeat to Edwin Figueroa at UFC 143 but it was marred with a controversial two-point deduction for a low blow that otherwise would have had him far ahead on the scorecards.

He looked great in his last fight. The two point deduction was ridiculous. Figueroa was exagerating and milking it.

Too bad he has a loss, but DW knows he’s doing great.
