UFC on FUEL | Ellenberger Wants Rematch With Condit And A Chance At The UFC Title

“Obviously I would love to get a rematch with Condit, that’s my goal right now, to get a world title. Obviously I have some things to work on right now, but we will see where it goes from here.”
Shortly after his UFC on FUEL TV win over Diego Sanchez, Jake Ellenberger took to the UFC on FUEL Post-fight special to once again proclaim that he wants the rematch with Carlos Condit.
With a six-fight win streak behind him, Ellenberger has stated his case for being one of the division’s best fighters. However, if you ask Condit or UFC president Dana White, next on the list for Carlos is GSP.
Ellenberger’s only UFC loss was in his debut against Condit and it was a razor close split-decision.
Does Jake deserve the rematch and a shot at the title or should he prove his worth with one more win?
You can check out our full play-by-play HERE for a more detailed breakdown.

**** yes
better train cardio gonna be chasing condit all night long.
Wow condit ran from one guy but had finished almost all his fights. Hmm. Quit taking shit. Condit by KO.
It’s good to see a Condit fan admit that he ran. Condit will never be the same, and will continue with the point fighting for the rest of his career. Point fighting = winning!
I wonder how Ellenberger will last against GSP…
@cory did you see Ellenberger/condit first fight? He took that fight on like 2 weeks notice and barely lost that. And Diego is a tough guy to put away. He has a crazy tough chin and that was shone last night. And obviously you must not have seen the last 10 seconds last night when Jake escaped and ended the fight on top of Diego
Yeah but the 1st fight was a 3 rounder, this time it will be 5 ..and theirs no way Ellenburger last 5 with Carlos… Ellenberger might not last 5 with anyone at 170 unless he gets the KO midway. He has one of the worst cardio’s in the UFC for some reason..i’m pretty sure he puts in the time, I think it’s just the way his body is…

Also, one last point, he obviously won’t fight kos next as he is already booked against Hendricks
I think Berger just broke his hand in the 2nd rnd, he never threw a power punch with his right hand in the 3rd. intresting is that he didnt mentioned it in the intrvu
i loved that
