UFC on Fuel |Dave Herman Thinks It Was An Early Stoppage But Places Blame On Himself

“I do [think it was stopped early] but it was my fault. He said to move but I moved just a hair second too late, it was definitely my fault… I felt pretty good accept for getting punched in the eye. I’m obviously not happy with my performance but overall it was a good experience and I look forward to improving.”
During the UFC on FUEL TV post-fight show, UFC heavyweight fighter Dave Herman took to the microphone and expressed his post-fight thoughts.
He looked great in the opening of the bout but during the second round Stefan Struve took over and eventually got the fight to the ground with a solid uppercut, took mount position and pounded Herman out until the referee halted the action.
It looked like it was an early stoppage to me too, but not a bad call, Herman wasn’t getting out of that position and there was still a decent amount of time on the clock.
Anyone think otherwise? Speak up Penn Nation let’s hear your thoughts.
