| Wow. There’s really not much to say about this fight except…wow.

Matt Brown entered this fight riding a 5 fight winning streak inside the UFC octagon. That alone is a very tough feat. Many people were saying that he was already worthy of being considered a title contender, but for some reason he just wasn’t getting the credit he really deserves. Well, after this one he is definitely going to be in the title talks.

All it took was 29 seconds for Matt Brown to put a stamp on his 6th consecutive victory and he is definitely riding a lot of steam in the welterweight division after this one.

The fight opened with Matt Brown landing a big leg kick, pressing the action, getting Pyle to back up. Brown then lunged in and missed with a right but then connected with the left hand as Pyle was moving backward and followed with a knee that dropped Pyle to the canvas. From there, Pyle could not recover as Brown hovered over him and landed three solid strikes that put his lights out.

Matt Brown walks away with a nice paycheck, a 6th consecutive win, and the recognition that he has deserved for some time now. This fight will likely be considered for Knockout of the Night and Brown will likely draw a top 5 opponent in the UFC welterweight division following this 29 second victory.

    I can’t deny this dude.

  4. 123 says:

Matt Brown vs Paul Daley.. both on a win streak.

  5. 757 says:

I like Brown. When he was on the show I though he would be a tough fighter. He came out and took care of business. I was impressed I will continue cheer Brown on. I t helped too that I can’t stand Pyle. That haircut and his smug attitude in his interviews drive me insane. That dude Pyle is so lucky in so many of his fights. His luck ran out tonight when he ran into Brown. Brown is like a figgen killer out there. That was awesome.

  6. Gargoyle Wrestling says:

Brown needs a top fighter now, he will be destroyed. This guy can’t fight with the best. His train is heading for a brick wall.

    • 757 says:

      wow dude. What?

      • Gargoyle Wrestling says:

It’s a bit bold, but his last 6 fights he’s won have been; Cope, Thompson, Ramos, Swick, Mein and Pyle not really any top 10’s there I believe. He has KO’d most of these guys but, he needs a top 10 wrestler to see what happens when he can’t strike and on his back. Not sure he will survive. Tough guy just not too sure he is champion level. As always could be wrong…
