UFC on Fox | Mitrione vs. Broughton and Thompson vs. De Fries Confirmed to Fight

UFC officials will be throwing in two fights featuring heavyweights on UFC on FOX 4 taking place at the Los Angeles Staples Center scheduled to air on Fuel TV and streamed on Facebook August 4. 2012
The newest members of the fight card include Matt Mitrione who will square off with British fighter Rob Broughton. Both fighters coming off losses and looking to get back to having their hand raised again. Mitrione has only dropped one fight in his career to Cheick Kongo via unanimous decision. Rob Broughton is comming of two losses in a row and may be fighting to keep his name on the UFC roster.
Oli Thompson hailing from Hastings, East Susexx England (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Phil De Fries from Sunderland, England (8-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC). Both fighters also coming off loses in their most recent showings in the UFC.
These bouts are fights for relevancy or even fights for recognition. Any fight at heavyweight means heavy hands and heavy hands usually means knockouts.
