UFC on Fox 1 Gets DaMarques Johnson vs. Clay Harvison

After their original meeting fell through due to a Johnson injury, UFC officials have booked the duo for another contest, this time on their UFC on Fox card scheduled for November.
According to reports, both DaMarques Johnson and Clay Harvison have verbally agreed to face each other on November 12. The two were originally scheduled to meet on the Fight Night 25 card, however after Johnson withdrew with injury, Harvison went on to face Baczynski and lose via submission.
UFC on Fox 1 is set to take place from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on November 12. Headlined by a heavyweight title fight between champion, Cain Velasquez and contender, Junior Dos Santos the event marks the first UFC event on the network and the start of a 7-year broadcast deal between the two sports powerhouses.
Johnson was introduced to the UFC audience for his part on “TUF” season 9. He was the shows runner up and had successfully put together three wins in four fights before his last outing against Amir Sadollah at Fight Night 24. Out of his 12 professional victories he has posted 11 stoppages and trains with the likes of Matt Hughes amongst others in Utah.
Harvison’s run through the “TUF” house was not as fruitful as his opponents. After losing in the quarterfinals of “TUF” season 13 he went on to earn his UFC contract with a split-decision victory over Justin Edwards on the shows finale. As previously mentioned we last saw him inside the cage at Fight Night 25 in a losing effort to Seth Baczynski.
