By Jamie McAllister
Charles Oliveira in an interview with TATAME.
Oliveira comments on his preperation for his next opponent Jonathan Brookins.
“The expectations are great, setting the final adjustments and doing what I have to do. I’ll do my best to bring this win to Brazil”
He comments on his game-plan for Brookins who holds a reach advantage.
“It’s not that I care whether he’s taller or shorter than me but I’ll bring him closer to me and use my Muay Thai so we don’t play it at a big distance.”
Oliveira previously has defeated former TUF Champion Efrain Escudero and is now set to face another in Jonathan Brookins.
“I got into the UFC to fight the best. One to become a champion at TUF has to be good, so I’ll do my best like always and, God bless me, I’ll get the win again.”
On making the cut to the Featherweight Division.
“It’s the second time I have to cut weight, but that’s my new division now. I’m used to cut weight and I like it that way. The only problem is reaching the division limit, but I’m used to it.”
