UFC : Nottingham Adds Tom Watson vs. Brad Tavares And John Maguire vs. John Hathaway | UFC News

Earlier today we reported that BAMMA Middleweight Champion Tom Watson had been signed by the UFC. Watson has been added to the UFC : Nottingham card and is set to face Brad Tavares.
UFC Officials announced today that Watson has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion.
In his first bout he will face former Ultimate Fighter competitor Brad Tavares in his UFC debut coming up on Sept 29 when the UFC returns to England.
Watson the Brit fights outs of Jacksons MMA and holds a record of (15-4) finishing Jack Marshman & Murilo Rua in his last two title defences.
Brad Tavares is currently (8-1) overall in his MMA career and (3-1) in the UFC defeating Dongi Yang in his last bout.
Another bout added to the UFC : Nottingham card is a Welterweight bout featuring John Maguire and John Hathaway.
John Maguire is (18-3) overall in his MMA career and is currently undefeated in the UFC (2-0) defeating Justin Edwards and DaMarques Johnson.
John Hathaway is (16-1) overall in his MMA career and (6-1) in the UFC. In his last bout at UFC on Fox: Diaz vs. Miller he defeated Pascal Krauss.

Watson BAMMA champ at 185 that Nate “THE CHEAT” was too scared to fight. Bamma had signed Nate THE CHEAT after Bellator didn’t want anything to do with him then Marquardt told BAMMA he would only fight at 170lbs. BAMMA says Nate “THE CHEAT” told them he would fight at MW then changed his mind (TOO SCARED OF WATSON) so they left Marquardt sitting around for a year then released him. I can see him being to scared to fight at MW in UFC but being too scared to fight at same weight he fought his whole career in a small organization like Bamma is just plain chickenshit
