UFC NEWS – Vitor Belfort & Wanderlei Silva To Coach Ultimate Fighter Brazil

The UFC held a pre-UFC 142 press conference today from Rio de Janeiro Brazil this morning to promote their January trip to Brazil.
During the presser UFC president Dana White announced that Brazilian fighters Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva will be coaching opposite each other on the debut season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil”
“This show in the U.S. is huge”, said Dana White. “What it has done is give us the opportunity to introduce the fans and the world to the fighters and it will do the same here in Brazil.”
“We think it’s going to be a thousand times huger in Brazil. There is an undiscovered Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, and Vitor Belfort out here. This country should be excited about it; I think this show is going to be a smash hit in Brazil.”
Currently Vitor Belfort is scheduled to face Anthony Johnson in the co-main event of UFC 142, but according to the report released by Dana White, Vitor will also face off with Wanderlei Silva at the conclusions of the reality series set to tape in Brazil.
For Vitor, he states his focus is 100% on Johnson even though he technically has two opponents booked to face one after the other.
No word on if the Brazilian edition of the series will be available for viewing in the U.S.

Great we get to listen to Wandy mumble poor English
Why would he speak english? Its the Brazilian version.
LOOOL
He mumbles in Portuguese too.
LOL at the down syndrome boy.
I would assume that IF they show it in the states at all, the whole thing will be subtitled. It’s Ultimate Fighter Brazil and all the fighters will be from Brazil so I would assume that they will all be speaking their native language.
its gonna be in Portuguese lol…. with subs most probably… or worst voice overs
Why would it be in English – it is in Brazil.
At least he is trying to make you guys understand something, he and a lot of other brazilian fighters are worried about you understand them. Anyone knows everything, life teaches everyday.
Americans…
hahaha e mesmo! vc sabe em que canal vao passar esse show?
Provavelmente no Combate
Wow !!!!
The whole show is gonna be subtitled…
I think this is good for Brazil, not so good for Wandy. Vitor will knock him out 1st Round
dont like this fight for wanderlei as much as i love him he could get hurt bad fighting vitor
So we won’t be able to watch it in The US??
The dumbest question awar goes 2………drumroll….joseph come on down and get your award
I’m pumped for this. I don’t speak Portuguese but I’m sure it’ll be subtitled for non-brazilians.
Vitor will kill wand, I like both but wands chin is done
ORLY?
yes.
i though the last TUF had the best fighters for a season but this could easily trump that. Any ideas what weight its gonna be???
looked it up, lightweight and middleweight
I think that UFC needs more Light HeavyWeight fighters
It Will Be Featherweight and Middleweight
Hmm, so it will be mush brain vs. mush brain, cant wait.
This will be awesome! I’m cool with subtitles. And I hope we get to see some new talents from Brazil
Omg Dana obviously wants Wanderlei to retire.I thought Dana cared about Wanderlei’s health.Yeah right.
hope us english folks can watch it.. they prob wont interview in port/eng but subtitles might make it worth watching if there are good fights. I feel bad for Wandys brain, should be a fun fight to watch though..
Yikes! I love Wandy and glad he gets this opportunity to coach; but he’d better do better than his last fight against Vitor, cuz he got KTFO bad.
The one where he beat Cung Lee??? lol
kevin i recommend you read the last sentence again. ”last fight AGAINST Vitor”
