UFC NEWS – Vitor Belfort & Wanderlei Silva To Coach Ultimate Fighter Brazil

The UFC held a pre-UFC 142 press conference today from Rio de Janeiro Brazil this morning to promote their January trip to Brazil.

During the presser UFC president Dana White announced that Brazilian fighters Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva will be coaching opposite each other on the debut season of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil”

“This show in the U.S. is huge”, said Dana White. “What it has done is give us the opportunity to introduce the fans and the world to the fighters and it will do the same here in Brazil.”

“We think it’s going to be a thousand times huger in Brazil. There is an undiscovered Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, and Vitor Belfort out here. This country should be excited about it; I think this show is going to be a smash hit in Brazil.”

Currently Vitor Belfort is scheduled to face Anthony Johnson in the co-main event of UFC 142, but according to the report released by Dana White, Vitor will also face off with Wanderlei Silva at the conclusions of the reality series set to tape in Brazil.

For Vitor, he states his focus is 100% on Johnson even though he technically has two opponents booked to face one after the other.

No word on if the Brazilian edition of the series will be available for viewing in the U.S.

Yikes! I love Wandy and glad he gets this opportunity to coach; but he’d better do better than his last fight against Vitor, cuz he got KTFO bad.
