UFC NEWS – UFC on FUEL TV 1 Gets Dillashaw vs. Watson and Brookins vs. Rocha

Two fights have been added to the UFC’s inaugural show on FUEL TV.

Bantamweights T.J. Dillashaw and Walel Watson as well as featherweights Jonathan Brookins and Vagner Rocha have agreed to face off on the evenings fight card.

UFC officials took to twitter today with the two announcements.

UFC on FUEL TV is set to take place in Omaha, Nebraska on February 15 from the Omaha Civic Auditorium. A welterweight clash between Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez is set for the evening’s main event.

T.J. Dillashaw is a Team Alpha Male product who got introduced to the UFC masses during his impressive run in “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14 reality series. He was able to take his Sacramento fighter styling’s all the way to the finals until he got knocked out in the first round by eventual winner John Dodson.

In his first post-TUF bout Dillashaw has agreed to take on fellow bantamweight fighter Walel Watson.

Watson last saw action in a split-decision loss to Yves Jaboiun at last month’s UFC 140 event. The lost killed his two-fight win streak that included his win over Joseph Sandoval in his UFC debut.

In featherweight action, Jonathan Brookins, the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 12”, takes on Vagner Rocha. Brookins last made an appearance at the UFC’s Fight Night 25 card where he lost a decision to Erik Koch. It was his first loss in five-fights.

Rocha was last seen in the UFC’s lightweight division submitting Cody McKenzie at Fight Night 25. The grappling wizard now makes his featherweight debut after Brookins’ original opponent, Rani Yahya, was forced out of the contest with injury.
