“There is a world title on the line, a shot at Anderson Silva, and at big payday at stake. Never mind the trash talk, the thing people really want to see is the fight.
On Saturday night, we will deliver. It might be a really attritional fight. I intend to make it the fight of the year.
Sonnen fights hard – so do I. There’s so much on the line, it’s going to be an incredible fight, and I can’t wait to get in there.
I’ll put it all on the line, because the real prize awaits.
Silva is pound-for-pound best in the world, he has almost become iconic. He us revered for the way he wins, the way he defeats people.
For me, to get a shot at him has always been my aim. If I was going to win the title off anyone, I’d want it to be against Anderson Silva.
He is the very, very best we have in the sport. No one else has been able to do it. He has been a champion for six years. If by fighting for the UFC middleweight title I can draw some attention to MMA in the UK, and help give it the boost it needs, then that will be the icing on the cake.
It is an incredible sport and there are some great fighters from the UK.
There is a real community in the sport which the wider world is being exposed to. The fight with Sonnen on FOX in the US this weekend will be watched live, they reckon, by between 10 to 15 million people, and by millions around the world in 150 countries.
It is my dream to represent England and the UK fighting for the world title. But I have to get through this challenge first against the strength and wrestling of Sonnen, who wants his return fight with Silva.”

Bisping is the same fighter as Brian stann except he doesn’t have half the power stann does.. Sonnen by unanimous decision and then TKO over silva..
