UFC NEWS – UFC Confirms Debut In Sweden Set For April 14

The UFC’s much anticipated debut show in Sweden was officially announced today by officials on this afternoon’s UFC 142 media call.
UFC on FUEL TV 2 is now officially set to take place at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on April 14th. The card is still in the works and officials stated today that they will be announcing bouts for the scheduled event shortly.
As it sits now the only bout BJPENN.COM has been able to confirm for the event is the previously announced welterweight throwdown between DeMarques Johnson and John Maquire.
The Ericsson Globe Arena is ready to take on as many as 15,000 MMA fans; however, seating arrangements for the venue have yet to be confirmed by the promotion. Opened in 1989, the newly announced UFC on FUEL TV 2 venue is a global landmark which boasts itself as the largest hemispherical building in the world.
